T O P I C R E V I E WCosmiqPhuzSaturn is about 1 degree away from my natal Saturn. I feel like a shift is starting to or about to take place in my life/existence. Any advice? Or just enjoy the ride?12muddyProbably just enjoy the ride and figure things out as they come at you, I'll do just that when my time comes. The reason? My s.o has just gone through his saturn return. We prepared for it and thought that we had all the loose ends tied. But when it came, it dragged up sht that took us by surprise (well maybe we should have seen it coming, but we thought that particular matter was solved and sealed). His RS ended up being quite emotionally and mentally grueling anyway lol. SulkyarcherBe good to people. Because Saturn is karmic.Good luck.VenusDiSiriusBe unwaveringly responsible. No excuses, no backing down, no gambling (whaaat? It's a legit advice!) + choose quality over quantity, read some Seneca and in general, look after your health : bones, teeth and skin. areesquivel quote:Originally posted by CosmiqPhuz:Saturn is about 1 degree away from my natal Saturn. Very close to the cusp of the 7th house (less than a degree).athenaia quote:Originally posted by VenusDiSirius:Be unwaveringly responsible. No excuses, no backing down, no gambling (whaaat? I've read in many different places that stoic Roman philosophy is the best energy to synthesize when going through a Saturn transit, so it's crazy you mentioned that. Marcus Aurelius seems to be a favorite astrologers like to mention! PlutoSurvivorI started writing a little article to myself one day when I was thinking about my Saturn return, 6H Sag. I'm going to share it here. Maybe it will help, or at least amuse you. ---Saturn the good guy? Rewards and successesWhy does Saturn scare so many of us? I've been thinking about Saturn and its bad boy reputation... How it is related to Karma, Habits, Restrictions, the Devil, and all that ooooohey bad stuff. And I realize Saturn is not often emphasized for its good guy role. Paying attention to Saturn can bring success to our lives and as a result, many blessings. Wherever Saturn is in your chart, it will tell all about where you yearn for success. Coming upon a Saturn return can be a breeze if you understand what it is urging you to do. It asks you to make better choices and better decisions for your future, to recognize your habits and to do things differently. I remember having a root canal right before I got married. Suffering from teeth or skin problems around your Saturn return is a sign that you are not making decisions or choosing what will serve you best. Of course that marriage did not last long. My 6H Saturn was telling me to break from my parents, advance my career and start my own business and I married a business consultant in another state who helped me do that, but if I had understood my own Saturn at the time I would have made better choices. Saturn is transiting Sagittarius now. Sag is ruled by Jupiter, the most expansive planet, and contrary to that comes along Saturn, the planet with the rings, the most restricting. So a Saturn return in Sag will be an activation of extremes, expansion-restraint. With a Natal Saturn in Sag you may long, at a very deep level, to expand without restraint. To have the power to act, speak, and think without restraint... To express your authentic self. To eliminate any situation that makes you feel imprisoned, enslaved, or restricted. But all the while Saturn in Sag hints that with responsibility comes freedom. (Note to self)bonsaiI'm in my Saturn return atm and I've noticed fundamental shifts within me in the past year or so, like I'm growing as a human and maturing. Go along for the ride, and try to be the best of yourself. Saturn return may even help you to become the best of yourself. I don't know about others, but Saturn return has made me dare to do things I wouldn't otherwise have dared to do before. It's a good feeling.areesquivel quote:Originally posted by bonsai:I'm in my Saturn return atm and I've noticed fundamental shifts within me in the past year or so, like I'm growing as a human and maturing. It's as if you've been clubbed over the head and been told to "hurry up and get your act together". For some people it may be in the form of a really challenging and not so pleasant experience, but it forces them to look within themselves and gain more self-awareness. I didn't realise that Saturn return had a scary reputation, because when I first read about it a few weeks ago it actually sounded quite nice. I think Saturn return is more like an acceleration of growth as long as you choose to embrace it with open arms and accept that some parts of your life need a nice clean-up and have unnecessary clutter removed. If you go with the flow, then once you come out on the other end, you'll thank your younger self. This is my personal interpretation. I think a person shouldn't be scared of it, but see it as a cosmic ticket to express growth.next to neptuneRemember to enjoy the good times in your life, they will carry you through the bad times.... seriously!!!areesquivel quote:Originally posted by bonsai: Yeah, I find that Saturn return may force you to confront your fears, force you to wake up and suddenly see crystal clear where you need to change your habits. I'll just completely surrender myself to the cosmos.teaselI faced fears, and actually had some fun with it. Uranus was conjunct my Mars, and square Moon, Venus, and Nodes, trine Uranus/ascendant, so that might have lightened things up for me. Although I also had dizzy spells, the closer to Saturn the transiting Saturn became. I still have those spells occasionally.I felt like I was just really getting started, at the time. bonsai quote:Originally posted by areesquivel: i love your personal interpretation it helps me a lot cause of this Retrograde motion I'm having it 3 times this year, I have Saturn 15 of Sagittarius, but you're so right, I think at this time and the things I've been through this year so far helped me tremendous to understand the power of giving structure to my life and don't fight it simply grow Sounds like you're on the right track AstraI went through my Saturn return recently, and honestly I didn't notice a difference. My life has always been difficult, so maybe that's why I didn't notice any changes. Lol. All I can say is to just go with the flow. Work hard and be responsible. Do everything that a responsible adult should do. Yes exactly, with my return I learn Saturn is not a bad one just the one that makes you structure your life, to me it was money and how I spend it, and with my return I'm even saving cause I know it comes and goes and my responsibilities are growing too
